Nike brings back the original Air Jordan 4 'Bred' with a twist that might just make them better than the original? We'll let you be the judge of that, but given that the AJ4 is no-longer an on-court shoe, losing the Durabuck for a supple full-grain leather actually makes perfect sense. Synthetics are great when performance is front-of-mind but once we're talking lifestyle we're not going to argue against quality leather.
The shoe's been tweaked, with Jordan Brand working to refine the shape and fit to more closely resemble the original '89 release. Aside from the materiality update the rest of the story is all about accuracy. From the collab shape to the "Nike Air" branding on the heel, Jordan did their best to get them looking shmick.
